I am trying to apply to my WPF app. I don't have an assembly .dll so what should I be applying the license to? My .exe? I tried that and it didn't like that.
Bill
Hi Bill,
Make sure the AssemblyInfo.cs contains the assembly:Guid attribute. This is required in both Silverlight and WPF applications for the licensing to work properly.

Hello Bill,
When you want to deploy WFP application, you will need to license your .exe file of your project.
You may refer to here on how to deploy WPF application. What error did you get when you deploy the application?
Thank you.
When I select the .exe file and click generate, it tells me to select a valid Silverlight or Wpf Assesmbly.
which I already have. I am creating a full Wpf app not an xbap. Does that make a difference?
I forgot to mention that it tells me that the selected file is not valid. I am selecting the .exe in the debug directory.
Yes, you probably select the incorrect .exe file in your project's debug folder.
Let's say my project's name is ClientUIWPFApp. Then, when you run the application, it will create 2 .exe files in debug folder.
In my case, I have ClientUIWPFApp1.exe and ClientUIWPFApp1.vshost.exe. If you select .vhost.exe file, you will get a notificatio to select a valid Silverlight or WPF assembly since it is not the correct .exe file needed in the licensing application.
Therefore, you need to select [Project Name].exe file to be licensed.
Hope this helps.
