Hi,
Are there any know compatibility issues with the webtreeview and IE8? Our QA guys are getting the following error:

Hello,
Can you also reproduce this issue in our live sample? Also, please let me know step by step to reproduce the issue.
Regards,Handy
Hello Handy,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. No, I cant reproduce on your live sample.
Ive done some testing, and it seems the problem arises when the tree view is on a page that has a master page. Ive stripped the tree view right back to its basics, and have attached some sample files showing the problem.
Here are the dll versions I am using:
ISNet.dll - 3.0.5000.753
ISNet.WebUI.WebTreeView.dll - 1.0.1500.221
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Hello Darren,
I still could not see the issue in here. Please try to apply WebUIFramework hotfixes in here.FYI, this a nightly build (disclaimer : on). Please let me know your feedback if you find something when using this hotfixes. If the issue still persists, please let me know step by step to reproduce your issue.
Regards,HAndy
I got the DLLs from the patch you sent, but the problem is still there. Can you maybe provide a working sample?
thanks
Darren
Please ensure you have applied the hotfixes in GAC and your project bin folder. All of our WebTreeView sample use master page. So, I don't think if this caused your issue.
Please see my attached sample. In all my tested sample, I also could not replicate your issue. Please let me know more detail about your environment machine. Is it possible that you are using web browser addon or other 3rd party control?
Thanks for the hot fixes. I manually installed the 2 dlls mentioned in the UpdateDef.xml file into the GAC, and also made sure all dlls were in the bin of my project. (I wasnt sure what to do with the js files, so just copied them over the ones in the intersoft install folder). Still no luck though. No browser plug ins (the problem has been seen on multiple machines by our QA team, and also on my development machine). Also, there are no other third party controls on use in the page (see original sample I sent).
Do you have any other ideas? This is a real problem for us, as we need this to work in IE8.
thanks again
Please let me know your contact email. I think we will need to remote into your environment machine regarding this issue.
It is darrenbudd1234@yahoo.com . Ill wait to hear back from you.
Hi Darren,
