The web text editor does not appear to display in IE 11.
<ISWebTextEditor:WebTextEditor ID="wteComments" runat="server" Height="120px" Content='' Width="675px"> <TaskPaneSettings> <MediaGallery Enabled="false" /> </TaskPaneSettings> <ViewSettings EnableHTMLView="false" EnableSplitView="false" /> <ToolBarSettings ToolBarMode="Minimal" /> </ISWebTextEditor:WebTextEditor> <ISWebTextEditor:WebSpellChecker ID="wspComments" runat="server" TargetControlId="wteComments" IntegratedToWebTextEditor="true" AllowAddToDictionary="false"> </ISWebTextEditor:WebSpellChecker>
I tried to reproduce the problem in my local test by creating a simple sample of WebTextEditor using the provided snippet code. However, my efforts were not successful – everything worked smoothly and the WebTextEditor control was rendered without any issues.
Could you confirm whether you are using the latest build version of WebTextEditor?
I’m afraid that WebTextEditor 1 has now been discontinued and there are not going to be any further updates for it. We have introduced full support for the IE 11 browser in WebTextEditor 2.
How do i get the web text editor 2?
I logged into the intersoft develo0per network, and although we renewed in January 2014, it says that everything is expired and I cannot get access to the web text editor 2. Please advise.
WebTextEditor 2 is available in the new Intersoft Premier Studio setup file. Temporarily, you can download the setup file from http://www.intersoftpt.com/RequestTrial.
I sent you a message to your registered email account regarding the problem which related to your renewal and product expiration. Please kindly check your inbox.
I've updated my web text editor to version 2.0.1000.4, and the same issue persists. The web text editor only displays for IE 11 if it is in compatibility mode.
Please advise.
Could you please try to browse one of the WebTextEditor’s live sample at following link: SetReadOnly.aspx live sample?
The screenshot shows how the live sample is rendered on my local end browser (IE 11 without Compatibility view). Please feel free to let us know if you have different result.
