Does anyone know when Webscheduler 4 is being released? Also, is there a feature list available?
Thanks...................
Hi Frank,
I expect WebScheduler 4 will be released in July. It will be packaged with our ASP.NET control that have supported HTML5 doctype also ClientUI and our new new mobile framework "CrossLight".
In WebScheduler 4, it will come with many new features like Optimized Daylight Saving Time for many countries that use daylight saving time in their timezone and Modern UI theme that would render WebScheduler in different way. Using Modern UI, WebScheduler will appear neater and more up-to-date instead of the other theme in Scheduler. WebScheduler 4 will come with other features to modify its UI. Hope this helps.
Regards,Bernard

Gentlemen I am not able to ask a new question or start a new discussion, when I try to post the indicator just spins and spins and spins so I am hoping I can just reply to this last thread as follows;
Is there a way to set the webscheduler to "present" and "adjust" the datetimes saved in the sql database based on the client side timezone? It appears that all the webscheduler views display datetimes based on the server side time or the time saved in the sql database.
For example; datetime is saved in sql database as 8pm and utc - 0 offset. Client is in timezone -8 hours UTC, and needs to show the date in all webscheduler views to client as 12pm not 8pm?
Please advise and thanks
Actually, WebScheduler is server application, that's why it would get the time from the server. It will get the time from the server side so it will get the data using the server time. If you want to synchronize the timezone with the users, maybe you can adjust the date and time setting in your server so it will update regarding to your user's timezone. Hope this helps.
Bernard,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I am not able to adjust all users to the same timezone setting of the server as they are located in various different time zones. However, I am working on a solution for the problem.
My users are complaining about another issue that I am hoping you can assist me with. The users are primarily using the timeline view, and have as many as 40-50 resource lines. The problem is when they scroll down the scheduler, the top timeline time bar does not stay "locked" into position and disappears once they have scrolled down. This is causing significant problems as when they try to schedule a timeline resource towards the bottom of the list, the timeline times are not visible so they have no idea what times they are scheduling. Is there a solution for this?
Also, when is WS4 being released?
Thanks - Frank
Actually, this matter doesn't happen in our local end. This is because the header row and the event row are in different table element. Is there any simple sample that can replicate this issue in our local end? You can try to replicate this issue using this sample:
http://live.intersoftpt.com/cs/WebScheduler/HighPerformanceScheduler.aspx?noframe=1&path=/WebScheduler/Turbo-charged%20Performance
As you can see in there, it has many resources and when you scroll down the header won't move. Maybe you can check the code from that sample. Please let me know if this issue still persist in your side. I'll gladly help you to resolve it. Hope this helps.
Actually, we're still working on 2013 release which include WebScheduler 4 as highlighted component. We still doesn't know that exact date of our new product but it will be released around end of August. Thank you for your patience.
