Is there a way to show the custom fields and icons in the scheduler itself in addition to start and end time etc. Referring to sample EventOrganizer and it shows custom fields in edit form but it does not have what I am looking for.
Thanks.
Hi,
May i know your expectations or your scenario?
Regards,
Hendrik
Hello Hendrik,
Attached is a screenshot of how I am trying to show the custom fields/icons in the scheduler grid. It has an image mapped to a medical alert field in the database and other custom fields like phone number, notes, dental procedures etc. Please let me know if doable.
Thanks,
Ruchika
Hello Ruchika,
Unfortunately, it cannot be done. Our webscheduler does not support this feature for now. I will report this to our developer teams as a feature request to enhancement our webscheduler in the future.
Thanks for your response Hendrik.
Would it be possible to display the custom fields in the msg box that appears when you select an appointment (as in the image attached) or it can just be seen in the Edit form?
Is there any alternative at all. We need to display some custom event information for sure. Can this be done by adding it all to the Description field?
FYI, we are trying this product to see if we get a considerable improvement in the speed at which the entire scheduler renders with a lot of resources and events vs. the other product we are currently using.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Please allow me to convey my opinion regarding the scenario.
I suggest you to add a custom field which is containing the combination of original subject/description field + the phone number information (based on the screenshot attached in your previous post). This custom field then set as the subject field of EventsBinding.
To improve the performance of WebScheduler, I'd like to suggest you to check the HighPerformanceScheduler.aspx sample file. In the sample, several features are enabled, such as: EnableFastJsonSerialization; EnableClientPaging; EnableServerPaging; etc.
Hope this helps.
