Having some strange results with WebScheduler. Display a page with a WebScheduler included and click on a date in Month view to add a new event. I pick a date in the future and the EditForm displays the message: This event occurss in the past. The start date and end date are Tue 09/08/2009. Not in the past.
Next problem: Click on the Start Date to change the date from 9/8/2009 to 9/16/2009 and the end date changes to 12/16/2008, clearly in the Past.
After fill in all fields with correct values and save. Go to that date and edit it. Still says the event is in the past. Change the start date and the end date changes to 12/15/2008. (The day stays the same as I selected but the month is always 12 and the year is always 2008).
Either creating a new date or editing a date, if I click on the drop down arrow to bring up the calendar and click on the Month to show a drop down list to select month, in IE 6 and 7, the displays jumps to far right.
Go into the calendar first time and select a date that is in the past and select edit event, all details are locked and can't change anything. Select another date that is in the future and it can be editied. Go back tot he date in the past above that couldn't be editied and now it can be.
The WebScheduler files in the BIN directory are Version 2.0.1000.218, the latest. These problems are only new to the movement to 2009V1. All other files are the exact version files. I cheched each one to verify.
Any ideas?
Hi John, thanks for pointing out this issue. We've identified the problem and the fix will be available in the upcoming service pack release.
I can reproduce this behaviour in the samples that come with webUI. Open up the VB project for WebScheduler and view the page "DataEditing.aspx" in the browser. Go to the month of Sept 2009, and add an event using the detail. Click on the StartDate drop down and selects todays date. Notice the End Date change to 2008. Svae the event and try to edit it, notice the Subject is read-only. Click on the All-Day event checkbox twice and notice the subject line is now writable. Also notice that the message event is in the past is displayed.
Refresh the page and then Go to Oct 2009 and try to create a new event, notice subject is read-only. Click on All day event and the subject can now be entered. Refresh page and try to edit the event you added in October.
I'm using IE 7 in the case.
