Hello,
I am having a problem when updating WebScheduler in a particular situation. I have attached a sample with 2 scenarios to help explain.
Under Scenario No. 1, I cannot edit WebScheduler, because WebScheduler is inside WebTab, and WebTab is launched from WebDesktop.
Under Scenario No. 2, the same WebScheduler file is launched directly from WebDesktop, and everything works correctly; WebScheduler can be edited.
Could you please check the attached sample and help me get Scenario No. 1 to work?
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Jean Nguimbus
Hi Jean,
May I know what is the problem when you tried to edit the WebScheduler? Does it has an error message on it? I have tried under all you settings and it worked just fine. I attached you a screenshot of what I got. Forgive men, however, there are no errors when I tried to edit the WebScheduler inside the WebTab.
Thank you and have a nice day.
Best Regards,
Andi Santoso
Andi,
Thank you for your quick reply.
I have attached two screenshots to illustrate what is happening. The error appears to occur in the Editing Form Loader script. I do not know where this script is generated from.
I did not see Desktop being involved in your screenshot. Please test again by (1) loading Desktop.aspx (present in my initial sample); (2) loading WebTab from the "Scenario 1" shortcut on the desktop; (3) clicking the WebScheduler tab; and (4) editing any event in Webscheduler.
Thanks
Jean
Sorry for the inconvenience, I am able to replicate the script error. It seems that there is override object when we try to use WebScheduler inside WebTab and WebDesktop. However, attached is a new .dll files that will solve all the problem. You can simply copy those two files into your bin project and re-try it again.
However, this is only a nightly build and has not been intensively tested. Disclaimer on: Any feedback regarding this build would be highly appreciated.
Hello Andi,
I have replaced the .dll files and the problem has been resolved. This function now works beautifully.
Only one thing. The javascript files that you included with this nightly build caused major errors when used. So I had to remove them. Basically, the new .dll files you sent me and the scripts already included in the current release fixed this issue.
If I should notice any other issues after installing this nightly build, I will let you know.
Thank you; your assitance is much appreciated.
Glad to hear that it has solved your problem. Yes, all the JavaScript is already included in those, so you do not need to copy them.
Your feedback will be highly appreciated. Thank you and have a nice day.
