I've attached a very simple sample. It has 2 WebInputs - one with AM/PM and the other with 24 hour time.
Run this test in the afternoon.
Reduce the year by pressing the down arrow and watch PM change to AM.
Try the same thing on the WebInput with 24 hour time. The time doesn't change.
I conclude this is another bug in WebInput.
I using WebInput.dll 214 and i'm in the USA in EST.
It seems the fix for this bug was too late to be implemented in WebInput build 215. The fix will be included in the next hotfix release.
Using the sample, we have replicated the issue in our environment. A bug report has been submitted to the developer. We will inform you if there is any update or progress regarding this issue.
this bug still happens in WebInput 215 and WebUI 704.
so i'm still dead in the water.
please get this fixed.
I'm still waiting (15 days) for this and the other WebInput bug i reported to be fixed.
These bugs are show stoppers so could someone PLEASE get these bugs fixed.
Has this bug been fixed. i'm using 216 and it still happens.
Also, are you planning to do anything about how months and dates are scrolled. I sent in an attachment on how i think it should work. that is it should be the same as how MS does it. Scrolling the month shouldn't affect the date, scrolling the date shouldn't affect the month and so on.
George.
The fix is scheduled to be deployed in the next major release of WebInput which coincide with the 2009 R2 release.
When will that be? I might as well take vacation until that happens. We can't release our product unitl this an other bugs are fixed.
The 2009 R2 is scheduled to be released this week, at the latest December 11, 2009.
Was a hot fix every issued for this problem?
A fix is included in the 2009 R2 release. The WebInput in the release is version 4 build 1.
