i require a sample of formview webcombo integration using custom object .In that sample the formview will initially show emtydataitemtemplate ..and after click of a button in master page it should show insertitemtemplate.
In my attachment, Formviewmode is changed from emtyitemtemplate to insertitem template on click of a button in master page ......After that i update the updatepanel in which formview is placed which gives me error......what could be the reason...

I've looked at your sample, but I cannot run it because you do not include the data. But from my observation, I do not see anything wrong with the configuration of your webcombo. That means, it should be able to run well.
I am also attaching a sample that you have requested. I am using the Northwind Access database, so please add the Northwind Access database to the App_Data folder before you run my sample. Hope this helps
