Hi,Guys i got a problem about that when i set webgrid's Property[ PagingMode="VirtualLoad" VirtualLoadMode="LargeData"] , and Sum of the Column did not update automatic.
so are there any kind person do me a favor?
I tried to reproduce the problematic behavior by creating a simple page of WebGrid based on your information. My sample page is enclosed as attachment within this reply message.
The grid’s paging mode is set to “VirtualLoad” and the VirtualLoadMode property is set to “LargeData”. In order to test the “sum of the column did not update automatic”, the following features are enabled: AllowAddNew; AllowDelete; and AllowEdit.
Below is the step-by-step that were made during my attempt in order to reproduce the issue.
View the page in browser.
Edit any cell value of “UnitsInStock” or “UnitsOnOrder” or “ReorderLevel” column.
Everything worked smoothly and the sum of the column updates automatically. The page is tested using WebGrid 7 build 429 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 build 770.
I’m willing to advice you further but in order to do so I would need you to elaborate on your specific scenario and possibly give us a running simple sample that reproduce the issue and a step-by-step guide that we can use to observe the problematic behavior.
Hope this helps.
The situation is when we use mode VirtualLoad to load new data, the sum did not update. Please check the attachment.
The column of UnitsInStock in page1, the sum is 1759,when we load all data ,the sum did not update.but it should be 6418.
So,how can i reach you directly? MSN or something else.
Thank you very much for the sent sample and the step-by-step to reproduce the problem.
I will have this reported to WebGrid development team to be investigated further. I’ll keep you updated with any news I heard from the team regarding this.
Thank you.
