Hi,
We've discovered that the less painful approach when customizing the grid's appearance is just overwriting the default CSS class names, so if I need to change the the frame style I need to make a new definition for the ".WG5-F" class (assuming the grid is on Standard default style).
The issue is the borders on the FilterRow are not always consistent. Try setting the grid to Win7 default style and add a RowChecker Column with AllowFilter=Yes. You'll notice that particular filtercell has White border on the right/bottom, while the rest of the filter cells have the default gray color.
Is there a way to fix this?
Somehow empty-cells is not working in IE7. If you are using IE8, the style should be rendered. Btw, It does have workaround for this issue. You will need get the element and set " " for its innerText.
e.g WebGrid1.RootTable.GetFilterRow().childNodes[1].innerText=" ";
Regards,Handy
Thanks for the workaround, Handy.
