Return value of method OnEnterEditMode / custom editors

Hello,

 

I have a DHTML custom editor for the WebGrid. This DHTML custom editor does not look like a drop down (does not have a drop down like a list). Since it’s a custom editor (not a textbox editor) it does not have a base editor either.

 

I would like to know what should  be the return value of the method OnEnterEditMode in this case.
