Hello,
I am using WebGrid version 7. One of the columns in my grid have a EditType set to "Dropdown", and so is the "FilterEditType" and I use a WebValueList for this purpose. All the edit's for the column work fine except for the Filtering. I am using the prepareDataBinding event for initializing the webvaluelist.
The problem with filtering is that when you select a filter for the "dropdown list" coloumn, and click on apply, it filters the data properly based on your selection in the dropdown. But then when you change the filter data for the dropdoen column, BUT WITHOUT applying the filter, the filter header shown the "Value" rather than "Text".
I have used your sample "BindWebValueListToISDataSource", enabled filtering, and was able to recreate the issue. Attached are the zip files and screen shot.

The current sample you sent could not show the issue in my environment. Would you mind to show me with some recording video with step by step to reproduce the issue? Also, please ensure you have used the latest hotfix ( for better performance). What exactly your code in PrepareDataBinding event?

Please find attached the video of the way to recreate the bug i mentioned in the file IMG_0139.Zip . I am using the latest hot fix, and using the code present in the file BindWebValueListtoISDataSource.aspx.zip in the above post.

The issue has been fix. You can download the latest build from here. However, this is a nightly build and has not been intensively tested. Any feedbacks regarding this build would be highly appreciated.
