Currently the WebGrid shows a message 'There are no rows in this view.' when no rows are found in the datasource. Personally I'd like to change the message, but that's not my point.
The point is, when adding rows from javascript, the messages stays visible! It only shifts one row down, because a new row has been added above it.
So two questions:
Thanks!
Hi Herman,
Yes, the message is appear to inform the user that the WebGrid's row is empty.
1. Yes its possible. You can go to WebGrid's Designer > Text Settings > Add New. In TextItem you can choose to CommonText/NoData and change it into any text in TextValue.
2. Unfortunately it is not possible for now. If you need to hide it, you can simlpy set the TextValue with space.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Julia
