Hi,
I'm using WebGrid 7 to display a table of figures together with footers. Several footers are defined as AggregateFunction="Sum", which adds together all the integer values in that column, and other columns are defined as AggregateFunction="Custom", where the codebehind's CustomAggregate event calculates a decimal value.
When I view the grid on my web page, the column data and footer values are displayed perfectly for both types of column. However, when I export to Excel, the footer values for the columns marked AggregateFunction="Custom" are blank. The other data and footers are exported fine.
Do you know what might be causing this problem, and Is there anything I can do to work around it?
Thank you,
James
Hi Yudi,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, please put this forward as a feature request.
Cheers,
Apologize for the delay in sending this.
The column footer string which is set by custom aggregation will not appear on the exported document. This scenario is not yet supported by WebGrid.
I can help by submitting this as feature request to WebGrid development team. The team will check the feasibility to implement this for the next build of WebGrid.
Thank you for the valuable feedback.
