I was able to duplicate this problem with a simple project that I've attached. Basically, in our case, the total does not get updated when we load more data if we use
ColumnFooterAggregateMode="CalculatePerPage"
A workaround would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Yousif,
Actually, It is not an issue in virtual load. "CalculatePerPAge" properties is designed for ClassicPaging scenario and it only aggregate data per each page.In virtual load, you will need to handle itself. Manually calculate the total agregate for the next load and add with the previous load total. After that, write the new aggregate into footer element.
Hope this helps.
Regards,Handy
Hi Handy,
Okay, that's what I figured.
Also, what's up with this forum's editor? See my original post how it has two of the code lines? I've tried removing the bottom one but it keeps coming back. Would you kindly pass this on to the forum team please? Thank you.
Actually, I am unable to see your code lines. Maybe, it is cached. After you removed them, try to refresh the page to see if the code lines are still in there or not.
Handy,
How about now? Does the first post show the line of code for you?
Nope. I also attached the screenshots to you.
Your snapshot doesn't show the first post. That's where the problem is per my, " See my original post how it has two of the code lines?" in my first reply above. I modified the first post now to show the line as a code block.
I am sorry, that is incorrect screenshot. This should be the correct one. As I said before, I am unable to see the line codes you told earlier. I only see 1 lines of code, not 2.
I already fixed the first post so it's moot at this point. How about below. I copied and pasted this from Visual Studio.
<RootTable DataKeyField="ProductID">
[EDIT] I only pasted one line above and now am going to remove the bottom one.
After removing the 2nd line of code in the above post, I attempted to remove the 2nd line which was successfull. However, I then edited the post again to remove the extra spaces and line left by the removed line of code and when I saved the post, you can see it then duplicated my "[EDIT]" line that was there.
Hi yousif,
Would you kindly just show in recording video. It is much easier to understand from that part. Also, please let me know your current browser.
I tried to duplicate for flash video but now I can't get it to happen. Good grief.
