Hello,
Do you have any examples of server control based custom editors? I am having trouble finding such an example. If I understand correctly what I see on the web, it used to be the case for the HTML editor, but apparently it is now a DHTML based editor.

Let me try to answer your question along with your another thread (http://www.intersoftpt.com/Community/WebGrid/Return-value-of-method-OnEnterEditMode--custom-editors/).
Attached sample is my simple custom editor server side control. To integrate your own custom editor, you must not run with SmartWebResources (FileSystem). You will need to use commonLibrary. Please apply "CustomEditors.zip" into "C:\Program Files\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\WebGrid\V7_0_7200\CustomEditors". The extract folder contains .js/script files which handle some validations of the control. (some of my validations maybe still missing some logics).Hope this can help you to integrate custom editor server side control into our WebGrid.
(Note: Our WebGrid supports CustomEditor. We only can help you by guiding how to integrate it into our control. But you will need to handle your own validation because it is your own control. We provided some .js files our custom editors as guidence)
