I'm using a tab with add/close at client side but the icon close "X" disappears.
The tooltip is correct and the tab is closed when I click on the image.
I wold like to know if the path's image is correct. How can I do this?
Why the image disappears?
Thanks.
I tried to reproduce the problem (broken line) in my local test by creating a simple sample of page containing WebTab control but my efforts were not successful. For your information, I’m using WebDesktop.NET 3.0 build 336 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 build 772. The test page is viewed using Internet Explorer 8 (browser mode: IE 8 and document mode: IE 8 standards).
Could you confirm whether you are using the latest build (apply the latest hotfix) of WebDesktop.NET 3.0 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0?
I’m willing to advise you further but in order to do so I would need you to elaborate on your specific scenario and possibly give me a running simple sample and step-by-step guide that I can use to observe the problematic behavior.
I tried to reproduce the problem on my local end by creating a simple sample of page containing WebTab but my efforts were not successful – everything worked smoothly and the close “X” was displayed without any issues.
I enclosed the sample page as attachment. Please have the attached sample tested on your end and let us know whether the issue persists or not. Should you find differences between the sample and your WebTab code, you may modify the sample and have it send back to us to be investigated further.
Hi Yudi,
Thanks for your reply but the image disappears too.
The image is correct when I insert the CloseButton !!
I think that it lost the style (css) because I set a specif css.
If I set AllowClose="Yes", the line is broken (tab.bmp). I think that the a image is the ActiveRight="VS1_RightActive.gif". Why the line is wrong??
Where are the images bellow ??
<ImagesSettings ActiveCenter="VS1_CenterActive.gif" ActiveLeft="VS1_LeftActive.gif" ActiveLeftSeparator="VS1_SeparatorActiveLeft.gif" ActiveRight="VS1_RightActive.gif" ActiveRightSeparator="VS1_SeparatorActiveRight.gif" NormalCenter="VS1_CenterNrm.gif" NormalLeft="VS1_LeftNrm.gif" NormalRight="VS1_RightNrm.gif" NormalSeparator="VS1_SeparatorNormal.gif" />
Thanks,
Patricia
It seems that you are not using SmartWebResources™ on your website.
Please try to do the following so that I can assist you accurately.
Click Start > All Programs > Intersoft WebUI Studio 2011 R1 SP1 > WebUI Studio for ASP.NET > WebDesktop 3 > C# Samples.
Place/add the sample file I sent to you (attached on my previous post).
View the sample in browser.
For your information, the WebDesktopSamples project is SmartWebResources™ enabled sample website. The close icon should be appearing when you put the sample within this website.
Please let us know if you have different result.
I tested your sample file on my aspx and the image disappeared. If I test the WebDesktop 3, the image is ok.
Important:
I'm using :
if I comment this line, the image is right but I lost all the my styles. If I uncomment the line the image disappears.
I have q question: Could you test with more than one file css file ???
I inserted this code on the Desktop 3 (AddingAndClosingTabAtClientSide.aspx) but the style disappears too.
Thanks for your attention !
This is my webtab:
Please try to set the CloseButton property in the ImageSettings of WebTab to “webdings_r.gif“.
...Where are the images bellow ?<ImagesSettings ActiveCenter="VS1_CenterActive.gif" ActiveLeft="VS1_LeftActive.gif" ActiveLeftSeparator="VS1_SeparatorActiveLeft.gif" ActiveRight="VS1_RightActive.gif" ActiveRightSeparator="VS1_SeparatorActiveRight.gif" NormalCenter="VS1_CenterNrm.gif" NormalLeft="VS1_LeftNrm.gif" NormalRight="VS1_RightNrm.gif" NormalSeparator="VS1_SeparatorNormal.gif" /> ...
The location of those image files is in the CommonLibrary\Images\WebDesktop folder (%ProgramFiles%\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\Images\WebDesktop). The default value of the close button is webdings_r.gif.
Please let us know whether this helps or not.
Thanks so much !!!
The image is rigth now, only the line is broken yet. Is it some propertie??
regards,
Patrícia
