Dear,
I have some shortcut added to my webdesktop with lengthy text description, as a result, the text cannot be shown fully in the rendered screen (see attachment 1st & 2nd icon).
I have tried to change the Height/Width property under ShortcutStyle>Normal section of the WebDesktop, but the problem still persists.
Is it possible to have custom height & width of shortcut? Where should I make the adjustment?
Thanks in advance.
Kenny
Hello Kenny,You would need to handle the text style via element. After that, please specify the position or the other style of the shortcut.
var wdm = ISGetObject("WebDesktopManager1"); wdm.ShortcutIcons[0].GetElement().style.height="100px";
Regards,Handy
Thanks Handy.
It does work ... partially.
The text are now shown fully, however, the icons are now overlapping one another. (please see the attachment, i have turned on the border for checking only)
How can i increase the gap/distance between one icon to another?
Thanks
Hello Kenny,
It seems this is a bug in our side. I will report this to our developer. For text workaround, I think it is the best if you specify the width in shortcut style, instead of using height. The text would not be resized vertically but it would be resized horizontally. At least it would not be cut by other shortcut.
Hi Handy,
I have changed the width in shortcut style as you have suggested.
It helps to get around the problem.
I am appreciated if you can keep me posted about the status of this fix.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
I will let you know when the fix is ready.
