Hello,
I'm using eval version of WebUI Studio 2009 R1 SP1 ASP.NET and Im having the following problem when usingWebCallOut control Within Ajax UpdatePanel.
Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object required
When used outside UpdatePanel it works fine.
Any idea how to make it work or workaround?
Thanks
Hi,
Could you let me know how to replicate your issue? Attached sample also put WebCallOut inside UpdatePanel and works fine. You can also modify the sample and send it back to me. I need more detail to investigate this issue.
Regards,Handy
Thank you for your replay. I apologize for not giving you all details. WebCallout is working as normal when page is loaded first time. The problem is when post back occurs on the page. After that I'm getting message: 'undefined' is null or not an object. I'm attaching sample. Hopfully there is a simple solution.
Ok, thank you for guiding me. I can see the issue now. I have forwarded this to our developer team and they are checking this issue now. I will let you know the result after received a response from them.
Handy,
Thank you for your help. When will be "next release"? I'm evaluating this component suite and i have just couple of days left before this trial is over.
Thank you again.
Hi Mark,
We are planning about the end of the month which after R2 release. Also, you can try an extension to our sales@intersoftpt.com. I am sure they can consider to give you some extensions.
Hi Handy,
I have installed R2 and the problem is still not fixed as of today Dec 21st. Am I missing something? This feature is very important in our development. Thank you.
Have you applied the R2 assemblies into your project application? I tested again and it ran well.
It is working for me too. Thank you for all your help.
