Just updated my system to use webUI 2013 R1 SP1 and webCombo no longer works with Firefox 25.0.1. Open up the DefaultStyle.aspx in the VB Samples for 2103R1Sp1 in Firefox and clicking on the downarrows does nothing. We need a fix!
Again this error occurs using the webUI webCombo VB samples included with this release.
In the Javascript error console of Firefox, these errors appear.
Timestamp: 11/20/2013 9:25:36 AMError: TypeError: can't redefine non-configurable property 'innerHTML'Source File: http://localhost:55137/WebCombo/ISRes.axd?F/IEMozBridge.js/305000909Line: 7
Timestamp: 11/20/2013 9:25:38 AMError: TypeError: window.createPopup is not a functionSource File: http://localhost:55137/WebCombo/ISRes.axd?C/WebCombo.js/607200256Line: 9
Same here:
"TypeError: window.createPopup is not a function"
please fix this soon. I have to revert my update because of this bug.
And could you please provice a different method for delivering hotfixes? It always takes an hour to install the whole package. Could you prepare just the assemblies as well?
Hi Stefan,
We will fix this issue soon and I will let you know if the fix can be downloaded. Also I will suggest our developer team to deliver the fix as an hotfix. We consider it would cost more time if you should install our installer and we will improve this hotfix delivery in the future. Thank you for your valuable feedback.
Regards,Bernard
Hi Stefan and John,
Actually this issue has been fixed by our developer team. You can download the assemblies in here:
https://www.mediafire.com/?m8aoy2bo6xqy3jk
http://www.mediafire.com/?gqmihqrzt7q5bs5
You can apply those assemblies in your project and your GAC and please let me know if this issue has been solved in your local end. Hope this helps.
