Hi,
I am using the Intersoft Webcombo and Infragistics WebDataGrid components in one page.
In Firefox 34.x - When choosing any value in the combo box the grid component is hidden.
In Firefox 39.x - The webcombo is not showing value list as dropdown when clicked.
I couldn't attach the sample solution of size 12 MB even after doing a split. So will upload somewhere and will send a link.
Please help in solving this.
With Thanks and Regards,
Giridhar JG
The attachment was not saved (12 MB). I will upload the attachments somewhere and share the link.
Look forward to hearing back from you with the link to download the sample.
I have uploaded the sample file in the below link.
http://www.sierratec.com/downloads/WebComboSample_13-Aug-2015.zip
Please use it and let me know if anything required.
Can anyone help in this issue ?
Can anyone help in this issue?
Sorry for the delay in sending this.
I run the sent sample on Firefox 40.0.3 and found that after select an item from WebCombo, the grid is hidden. Please kindly check the video which shows how the test was taken and let me know if you have different result.
In the meantime, I'll continue to investigate this problem and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Reason: provide nightly-build
I modified IEMozBridge.js file and apply the changes to WebComboSample_13-Aug-2015 sample file (provided by Giridhar JG on August 14, 2015). The result: now the page shown in Firefox has similar behavior as the one shown in IE 11 or Chrome browser.
I enclosed the modified version of CommonLibrary as attachment (CommonLibrary_modified.zip). Try to apply the modified CommonLibrary and let me know whether this helps or not.
IEMozBridge.js file is modified and now grid is no longer invisible when user navigates through pages by clicking the page button of the grid.
I enclosed the modified version of CommonLibrary as attachment (CommonLibrary_modified2.zip). Try to apply the modified CommonLibrary and let me know whether this helps or not.
I tested the link to download the files on three different computers with three diferent browsers, and found no problems.
I recall that you had the same issue (having difficulties to download the files, getting 404 file not found error) on October 19, 2015. Could you please try to download the file using different internet connection?
The combo and grid works fine in Firefox. Thank you for resolving the issue.
We were able to download the file. Since we used the link
http://old.intersoftpt.com/Community/WebCombo/Webcombo-Hides-a-Grid-component-in-the-Page/?1445317162533
we were not able to download.
We logged in new link and we were able to download the files.
Glad to hear the good news.

We are facing the below error in google chrome browser.
Uncaught RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded in Safari.js file.
This happens when we configure the application in https in IIS as website.
Kindly let us know on how to resolve the same

Does the above problem related with the problem discussed in this thread, Webcombo Hides a Grid component in the Page? Or is it a different topic?
Please let me know your response so that I can assist you further.
It is a different topic and not related to the Grid Hiding issue. This is an new issue which occurs in chrome browser. As a result the dropdown shows as 6 and not listing data.
It would be nice if you post the JS exception problem in a new thread since it is a different topic and doesn't have any relation to this grid hiding issue.
I have investigated the report and found that the problem is not reproducible. Will let you know the detail result on your new thread which discuss about the JS exception in Safari.js file when configure the application in https.
The combo and grid is not working in firefox. When configured in https the grid is hidden.
We have updated build of WebCombo 6 (6.0.7200.260) and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 (3.0.5000.917).
as per the instruction in https://www.intersoftsolutions.com/Community/Lounge/Webcombo-displays-6-in-Chrome-Browser-when-configured-as-website-in-https-443-port/
We get the below error,
TypeError: this.parentElement is null
Kindly let us know on how to resolve the same.
I enclose IEMozBridge.js file as attachment. Please add this file into "CommonLibrary\Shared" folder to fix the problem on Firefox browser.
If you are using SmartWebResources, I'll provide the nightly-build of WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 which includes the changes on IEMozBridge.js in the next couple of days.
This should helps.
The nightly-build of WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 which includes the changes on IEMozBridge.js is enclosed as attachment in this thread: WebCombo Hiding Grid Component when configured in https in Firefox browser. Please have the hotfix evaluated on your end and let me know the result.
We were able to resolve the issue by updating the latest version of Web UI .Net Framework 3.0.
Thank you resolving the issue.
Glad to hear that the nightly-build of WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 resolves the reported problem.
