Please note i have asked this question under webgrid. what is required is,  Consider the grid is loaded with 10 pages, on the click of the grid row, i am raising a popup window which will contain some detailed info of the row. In the popup there will be next and previous buttons, when the user clicks next button, i will get the currently selected row and move to the next row. When the user reaches the last row of the page x(may be 1 or 2 or any page), i want to move the next page and load the first row details in the popup. So i should know the current page index and total number of pages in the grid. How to get the current page index and total number of pages available through javascript?

For "Load more data" option, if the page size is 6 and if it contains more than 6 in the datasource then we can enable the vertical scroll bar. That will intimate the end user that more than 6 records are present.

In IE8 without compatibility mode, the grid headers are not aligned properly.

I have tested yours, it works fine with other browsers except IE 8 compatibliity view .  In IE8, without compatibility view no horizontal bar comes, but the headers are not aligned properly. In compatibliity view, the headers are aligned properly but the horizontal bar comes even if i set the width to 100%. I have attached the sample project that i have tested. please check in IE8 compatibbilty view.

One more thing what i needed is, if i have set the height of the grid to 200 and  the first six records got loaded a vertical scroll bar should be appeared if more than 6 records found. The idea of clicking "Load more data" is good but not all the end users will know that.

I have one question here.  I saw the webgrid samples of live.intersoftpt.com, the grid headers are aligned properly. how it is aligned?

Thanks for all your replies. I am having another js file,individually both js works fine while putting altogether in the intersoft webgrid page it creates javascript error. Now i resolved it.

You can view  the  HTML page @ http://admin.usencode.com/TestPage.aspx. It is only viewable only in IE. i am using DNN 5.1. please find the source code of the user control.

Hi,

when i removed the property AutoFitColumns="true" from the grid, the javascript error went.  can you please tell me how to resolve this?
