If. You are right he was using the doctype incorrect
<DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "- / / W3C / / DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional / / EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> that the .Net gives by default.

I dont have problem with the webgrid, using the doctype 
<DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "- / / W3C / / DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional / / EN">

but I have others problems with ajax controls that thou then displayed in the following pictures.

if I did all those steps, just gives me that error. a question, my server needs to have internet access? because my server does not have internet access, intranet will only be working. You do the validation via internet truth, there is derrepente by the subject.

problems with SmartWebResources

OK, I add the DLL's to the bin folder of my project and I dont have errors in the WEBconfig,
but now I get a message that I display in the attachment.

Remenber that I'm using smartwebresource.

I need to do any installation on the server or to register some dll's in the operating system.

Thanks for the answer, but in our interface user standar we don't use this kind of webgrid with child grid.

we have a user and we need to assign roles using the webgrid, but the problem is that we have two keys (id_user,id_role).

For add new rows we have the user like a default value and we can add the row without problems

But for edit and delete we have problems, because we have two keys and when we use tha buttoms grid, it shows an error

I have a similar problem, i want to work in the webgrid a table with a composite primary key (id_user,id_role) and we only can define a key for the webgrid, what can i do?

what you mean with"specify a composite primary key for the datatable with those two columns" ????
