IIS is installed and has been running on this PC. Can anyone suggest what to do to resolve this issue?
(I am sure this is why the sample business application will not allow me pass the login registration field where the app craps out as soon as I type any character.)

Hello Bruce,
Thank you for your screenshot. FYI, the toolbox error installation can be caused from Visual Studio itself. So, sometimes this issue does not come from installer. However, you can manually install the toolbox. (Please see our documentation about how to install the toolbox)
About Virtual Directory (IIS) error, it should not be happened if your IIS is active and you are running the installer as administrator privilege. However, you can also setup the commonlibrary as virtual directory manually.
When you got some errors when installing, you can find "send error" button below. Please click and send it to us. If the issue comes from ours installer, we will fix it in the next release.
Regards,Handy
If you are using Windows x64 edition for development and IIS 7, please check following article in our official blog to solve the issue, http://intersoftpt.wordpress.com/2009/08/10/using-webui-studio-2009-in-windows-x64-and-iis-7/.
Please let us know if you have different configuration.
Sorry, should have noted earlier - am running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit on Macbook Pro through Parallels boot drive
I had other issues in loading templates (see my post in the Lounge forum) that have been resolved (error due to 'long' path name to projects template that seems to be specific to Intersoft templates only). In any case I thought that maybe the 'failure's experienced during the installation process might have been contributing to the errors in using Intersoft templates, but that is not the case.
Now I believe the two 'Setup failed' messages are in error - see attached screenshot.
The first 'failure' relates to VS2008 toolbox installation. I have VS2008 installed but during the intersoft setup I elected not to include this option.
The second 'failure' relates to the Virtual Directory (IIS) setup. I am at a loss as to what this step is attempting to do. IIS was already installed and running just fine. VS 2010 solutions, including those created using Intersoft project templates are working fine. Exactly what has failed and what is the consequence?
(Windows 7 Professional 32 bit, VS2010, Blend 4 - running as a parallels boot drive on Macbook Pro)
