We can replicate this issue in here. This issue might be happen because there are some new feature in IIS express. To resolve this issue, you can add our handler in you system.webServer tag in your web.config. You should also put this tag inside your appSettings tag in your web.config:

<add key="vs:EnableBrowserLink" value="false"/>

You can also see this configuration in our sample's web.config that included in our latest installer. Hope this helps.

A couple of notes:

I added the handlers and the appSettings key and the grids look ok.  I will continue to test.

3. I noticed that I am getting told at runtime that I am using a trial for the 2012 webuistudio.  Why is this happening?

4. I still don't know if there is a patch for the 2013 controls that will correct the firefox modal dialog issue.

Could you try to clean install our product and please also ensure if your assembly in your project's bin folder is the latest one? This might solve your problem regarding the reference to 2012 product. You could also find the WebCombo Hotfix in this thread:

You could apply those hotfix in your program files and in your project to fix the WebCombo Rendering in Firefox.

However, I could replicate your issue above. If possible, could you lead me with steps to replicate this issue in my local end? Please also ensure if you're using the right doctype which is HTML5 doctype and the right rendering mode in our control. It will prevent the error in your page. Hope this helps.

I am still getting the licensing errors.  I need a resolution for this quickly.  We have numerous customers that are dead in the water because IE 11 was pushed out to them.

I have attached an image with the assemblies that we are using. Can you confirm for me that these are all correct? Below is the first section of the license keys that we are using. Can you confirm that these are correct as well? Our account shows multiple keys for some of the assemblies and I don't know for sure if I am using the correct ones.

Could you let me know when is this issue appear in your local end? Is it on deployment or on development? I think some of your assemblies is not the latest one. You should update WebCombo and our framework assemblies to the latest one and you could get those assembly from the thread that I sent you before. Please also ensure if you put the right Runtime License Key for each product with the same version in web.config of your project. I updated the assemblies that you suggested from the forum links. I get the a hovering window with a message about the trial on my machine and on a deployed site I see the message below. I think this issue happen because the assembly that you use and the license key and runtime license key doesn't match in your project. The assemblies that you mentioned above is right but you should check if your runtime license key in your web.config is the right one with the product and product version. Perhaps you should check the assembly by using the steps below

1. Open your license manager and register your WebGrid 8 License key to WebGrid 8 product. (if the product version that you see in your license manager is not the latest one, you could open you registry and you can delete Intersoft Solutions folder in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ directory. Note: this issue only happen in x64 machine and this issue happen because there are 2 Intersoft Solutions keys in your registry)
2. Please ensure if you're using WebGrid 8 Runtime License Key in your project's web.config. (you couldn't use earlier WebGrid Runtime License Key for WebGrid 8 Runtime License Key)

I'm at a loss on how to fix this.  I have tried everything and your licensing/finance people have been unable to help.  My order reference number is ST86853422.  Can you please verify that the runtime license numbers that I am using are correct?  I emailed them to Martin Lie in sales and accounting.  I don't want to post them in an open forum.
