I recommend you to try to re-install Windows and let me hear the result. Based on your information, I believe that my test PC has identical configuration with yours:

  • Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
  • Visual Studio 2015
  • Intersoft Premier Studio 2015 R1 setup file

I have tried different combinations and then clicking next in "Please select the product edition " dialog. Everything works as expected.

Please feel free to let us know if the problem still persist after re-install Windows.

Hi,

We have re-installed the windows and successfully installed the Intersoft Framework and its working fine.

But we are unable to Deploy the Android application in AVD Emulators and it's working only with Device. Kindly let us know the procedure to deploy application in AVD Emulators.

Reason: update test result.

I managed to install Premier Studio 2015 R1 without any problems. Following information shows the detail of the PC.

  • Operating system: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.
  • IDE: Visual Studio 2015.

I downloaded the setup file of Intersoft Premier Studio 2015 R1 on October 1, 2015 and able to install the WebUI Studio for ASP.NET on the specified development machine without any problems.

In order to determine what may cause the problem on your end, please allow me to guide you to create a log file.

<setup.exe> /l=<logfile.ext>

In the above example, setup.exe denotes the main setup executable, and logfile.ext is the full path to the desired log file.

Be aware that logging significantly decreases the runtime speeds of an installation.

Example:

  1. Create a folder in C:\ and named it as: DownloadedFiles.
  2. Add a Text Document file and named it as: LogFile.txt.
  3. Open Command Prompt (Admin). Fow Windows 8.1 user, can use this combination key: Win key + X, followed by A.
  4. Type cd c:\DownloadedFiles\intersoftstudio2015.exe /l=c:\DownloadedFiles\LogFile.txt. Then Press Enter.

Please note:

  • If your logfile path contains spaces, enclose the full parameter (including the leading /l= part) inside double-quotes.
  • Specifying a file name only is not allowed. You must specify a full valid path in an existing folder, including drive and directory information.

Hi,

I have herewith attached the logfile generated during the installation.

Please let me know if this will help any investigation. Based on this I will proceed with the next steps like Windows reinstall.

Reason: Update test result

I tested the installer problem in a fresh PC. It has Windows 8.1 Professional and VS 2015 installed. Please see the attached video which shows the install test.

Could you please right-click on the installer file then select "Properties" from the context menu? The screenshot below shows the "Properties" window of the installer that I use during testing. If you have older version of installer, please try to re-download and let us know if the problem still persist.

Hi,

We have already downloaded the latest installer from intersoft and the issue is with latest installer.

Here with i have attached the installer file's properties for your reference.

  • A video that shows the problem (from clicking/running the setup file; input the name and organization; select product edition from "Please select the product edition" dialog; until the problem persist.

I tried to reproduce the reported by problem by running the setup file in various combinations but our efforts were not successful.

Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.

Hi Yudi,

Kindly find below the System Information.

  • Operating System : Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

We have already metioned the Name and Organization in input dialog. We were getting the same Script Error dialog every time when we select the "Product Edition Dialog and Click Next" .

Glad to hear that the reported problem is no longer persist after re-install Windows.

But we are unable to Deploy the Android application in AVD Emulators and it's working only with Device. Kindly let us know the procedure to deploy application in AVD Emulators.

More information is needed to find out what is causing the problem. For example:

  • is there error happen when deploying Android application to AVD emulator?;
  • does the emulator can be started from a command line, or can run it from within Android Studio development environment?
  • try to debug a simple native Android application by using AVD emulator;
  • if debugging with native Android application works, try to debug a simple Android project created by Xamarin Studio;
  • can try alternative Android emulator like: Xamarin Android Player; or Visual Studio Emulator for Android; etc.

I'm willing to advise you further but in order to do so I would need you to elaborate on your specific scenario by creating a new ticket/thread that discuss about how to debug on Android emulator.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Hi Yudi,

  • No, We have Checked the sample Xamarin Android application by running the AVD Emulators and its working fine.
  • When Deploying the sample project (which created by Cross Light Template) is not deploying with AVD Emulators.
  • As you advised above, we have checked withXamarin Android Player and its working good.

Thank you very much for your co-operation & support.

Best Regards
