I was looking at the live samples today for some integration features and noticed an issue with the collapse/expand all. See this live samples grid for an example of this behavior.
It looks like the expand/collapse all ONLY works from the group row you click on and down. So if you click on Category: j in the live sample and select Collapse All only the groups from that point down are collapsed. The same applies to expanding.
I expect the ALL to act on all groups. I would expect a different option, e.g., Collapse All From Here to act on only the selected on down.
This is consistent behavior as it happens here too.
Hi Yousif,This is a current behavior of WebGrid. When our developers planned to develop this method, they planned to develop a method which is handle Expand/collapse from the selected row.
But, after I discussed with the developer, They said that they will develop a method that can handle expand and collapse all rows as you expect. And the old expand/collapse all behavior's name will be changed.
I ensure that expand/collapse all method already on feature request queue.
