I get the following error when I try to access a WebGrid in Visual studio 2005.
SmartWebResources feature is currently disabled. Please enable SmartWebResources in order to develop web application in file system mode. To enable SmartWebResources, right click on any Intersoft's control in the designer and click 'Register SmartWebResources'. For more information about SmartWebResources, please refer to WebGrid.NET Enterprise Documentation.
I did as descripted above but I get the message 'Access denied' from Visual Studio.
I have no problem when I click on the Licence Manager or WebGrid Designer.
Where does this Access denied come from?
I deleted the WebGrid.Resources.dll in my bin folder.
I then opened my aspx page in Designer. The Intersoft installation program was automatically called and reinstalled the grid.
After that everything was ok.
Hello Piere,
Could you send the screenshot of your error? Also, please try to close your VS and remove asp.net cache at C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files and do iisreset.
Regards,Handy
