Hello, when I try to open WDSK editor I get an error message that the component is corrupted or not installed, see the attachment. The page was built with a previous version of WDSK, I have only made few changes for HTML5 compatibility. Moreover, if I browse the page by IE 11. 0.30 and Win10 from the development machine the WDSK is shown correctly but if I do it from a different machine running the same version of IE and win, it’s shown only the WDSK’s background without icons. The same browsing works perfectly fine in all machines using Firefox, or Win7 IE 11.0.29, may be is a security issue of IE 11.0.30.
I tried to add the URL to trusted sites and/or intranet sites but nothing changed.
I have attached the WDSK page in order to let you check if there is something wrong.
Thanks.
Regards.
Luciano
Hello Luciano,
Thanks for the sample. I investigated it and the WebDesktop Designer problem is caused by the !important value of WindowStyle's CustomRules. You could try to change it as following:
... <WindowStyle> <Active BaseStyle="Normal" BorderColor="#166AEE" Overflow="Hidden"> </Active> ... </WindowStyle> ...
May I know whether you're using Unified Theming? If so, I might have another workaround for you.
Hope this helps.
Regards,Erwin Sanders
Overflow="Hidden"to CustomRules="overflow: hidden !important;"
Hello again Luciano,
Your initial issue was the inaccessible WebDesktop Designer, am I right? It should become accessible by removing the !important attribute to the Window Active Style. Was the Overflow="Hidden" workaround didn't work for you?
By the way, I looked up at your screenshots, and there's nothing wrong with them. The inaccessible WebDesktop Designer is caused by an issue in our internal code and it's been addressed under ASPNET-389. I'll inform you once it's been fixed. In the meantime, you could try using the Overflow="Hidden" property instead. Sorry for any delay that may have caused you.
Best Regards,Erwin Sanders
That's good to hear Luciano. Thank you for the information. If you've got any other questions, feel free to ask again.
