Redefining the way users interact with their data grids, WebGrid now offers two ways to select multiple rows. In addition to the traditional row checkboxes, the WebGrid now supports the same Windows complex row selection style previously found only in desktop applications, combining keyboard stroke with mouse click. Later, simply copy the entire selection and paste it in the desired target, such as: Microsoft Excel®.
The checked state of all rows is preserved throughout every flypostback event. Regardless of the user action – refreshing pages, navigating between pages, or any other postback action – all rows will be accurately restored, every time.
Finally, handy contextual menus are available for multiple rows. The convenient contextual menu addition lets you copy multiple selected rows to the clipboard in just a few clicks.
