I'm a user of WebGrid7,
the questions:
1) If I use a doctype of "<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">", then the column headers are not aligned with the actual colums.
If I change the doctype to "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" >", then the WebGrid displays correctly, but I can't use this doctype, because the whole site is designed using the xhtml doctype. How do I get Webgrid7 to display correctly using the xhtml doctype?
It's very urgent!!!!!!!!
Please install Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1 to get the latest build of WebGrid 7 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0. This is the only way to fix the XHTML doctype 1.0 bug in WebUI 2009.
The grid that comes in WebUI 2009 and WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1 has the same version, which is WebGrid 7.0. If you install Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1, you will get WebGrid 7.0 and its latest build number (along with Intersoft WebUI.NET Framework 3.0). This will fix the XHTML doctype 1.0 bug in WebUI 2009.
There is no need to worry about the license of WebGrid since the version of the grid is identical.
No patch available to be downloaded to fix the XHTML doctype 1.0 bug in WebUI 2009. Simply by installing Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1 will surely fix the issue (I have ensured this by testing the build version of WebGrid.NET Enterprise 7.0 of Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1).
The latest build version of WebGrid 7.0 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 that comes with Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1 is not uploaded into our Intersoft Update Manager server (these build version is not a hotfix). Using Intersoft Update Manager to scan for updates will not help. It is very recommended to install Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1 to get the latest build of WebGrid 7.0 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0.
Hope this helps.
Hi Zhang,

Please refer to http://intersoftpt.com/Build/ApplyHotFix for how to applying the WebGrid HotFix.
Have a nice day.

I made a simple test page using WebGrid 7. The grid is bind to Shippers table of Northwind.mdb database using AccessDataSource control and the page uses xhtml doctype as follow:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
When the page is viewed in browser, everything worked smoothly and the page was accessed without any issues. I was unable to reproduce the misalign column issue.
Please try to use the latest build version of WebGrid 7 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 and let us know if the problem still persist.
For your information, I’m using WebGrid 7 build 404 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 build 755. This build version comes with the installer of Intersoft WebUI Studio R1 (release version).
I has downloaded your
Hi,
Even i tried this HotFix but the issue seams to be the same.
Please resolve the UI disorder in XHTML mode. It is very important.
Thanks,
Huzefa
The latest build version of WebGrid 7 has addressed the misaligned column line issue when WebGrid is used with XHTML doctype. I created a video that shows the test file that I made on my local end.
This is the specification of my local test:
It is very recommended to use the latest build version of WebGrid and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 that comes in Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1 installer. Any other information needed regarding the video, please let me know.

Is there any patch for downLoad?
The latest build version of WebGrid.NET Enterprise 7 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 that comes within Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1 is not uploaded into our Update Manager server, since these build version is not a hotfix build.
...It is very recommended to use the latest build version of WebGrid and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 that comes in Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1 installer...
As mentioned in my previous post, the only way to get those build version applied to your development machine is by installing Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1. The installer file of Intersoft WebUI Studio.NET 2010 R1 can be obtained in the following places:
Hi Yudi,

For Huzefa Katwarawala:
Per request of this thread, I only test the compatibility of WebGrid with xhtml doctype. I haven’t thoroughly test the other ASP.NET of Intersoft WebUI Studio 2010 R1 yet. I’ll need more time to test the other control.
As far as I know, WebCombo 4.0 has compatible with xhtml doctype as well.
For zhang xiangyuan:
Glad to hear the good news.
