Apply ASP.NET Product Hotfix Manually

With consistent hotfix roll out monthly, we are striving to deliver you the most stable and superior products. You can apply it manually via the bundled Update Manager and continue working on your project. However, there are certain conditions when the Update Manager is not applicable or if your development machine does not have any internet access.

This topic provides a step-by-step instruction on how to apply the hotfix manually.

To apply WebGrid hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : WebGridNET7_0_7200_404.zip.
  2. Delete ISNet.WebUI.WebGrid.Editor.dll from GAC (located in C:\Windows\assembly).
  3. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebGrid.NET 7.0\Bin.
  4. Drag ISNet.WebUI.WebGrid.Editor.dll from [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebGrid.NET 7.0\Bin to GAC.
  5. Copy the entire contents of \script folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\WebGrid\V7_0_7200 folder.

    The scripts are needed if SmartWebResources is disabled.

To apply WebCombo hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : WebComboNET4_0_7200_220.zip.
  2. Delete ISNet.WebUI.WebCombo.Editor.dll from GAC (located in C:\Windows\assembly).
  3. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebCombo.NET 4.0\Bin.
  4. Drag ISNet.WebUI.WebCombo.Editor.dll from [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebCombo.NET 4.0\Bin to GAC.
  5. Copy the entire contents of \script folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\WebCombo\V4_0_7200 folder.

    The scripts are needed if SmartWebResources is disabled.

To apply WebInput hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : WebInputNET4_0_7200_4.zip.
  2. Delete ISNet.WebUI.WebControls.WebInputDesigner.dll and ISNet.WebUI.WebControls.WebInputWizard.dll from GAC (located in C:\Windows\assembly).
  3. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebInput.NET 4.0\Bin.
  4. Drag ISNet.WebUI.WebControls.WebInputDesigner.dll and ISNet.WebUI.WebControls.WebInputWizard.dll from [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebInput.NET 4.0\Bin to GAC.
  5. Copy the entire contents of \script folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\WebInput\V4_0_7200 folder.

    The scripts are needed if SmartWebResources is disabled.

To apply WebDesktop hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : WebDesktopNET3_0_7200_311.zip.
  2. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebDesktop.NET 3.0\Bin.
  3. Copy the entire contents of \script folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\WebDesktop\V3_0_7200 folder.

    The scripts are needed if SmartWebResources is disabled.

To apply ISDataSource hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : ISDataSource1_0_1500_212.zip.
  2. Delete ISNet.WebUI.ISDataSource.dll and ISNet.WebUI.Design.ISDataSourceDesigner.dll from GAC (located in C:\Windows\assembly).
  3. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\ISDataSource.NET 1.0\Bin.
  4. Drag ISNet.WebUI.ISDataSource.dll and ISNet.WebUI.Design.ISDataSourceDesigner.dll from [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\ISDataSource.NET 1.0\Bin to GAC.

To apply WebUI.NET Framework hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : WebUINET3_0_5000_755.zip.
  2. Delete ISNet.dll, ISNet.WebUI.dll, ISNet.WebUI.Design.dll, ISNet.WebUI.Editor.v4.dll and ISNet.WebUI.Silverlight.dll from GAC (located in C:\Windows\assembly).
  3. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebUI.NET Framework 3.0\Bin.
  4. Drag ISNet.dll, ISNet.WebUI.dll, ISNet.WebUI.Design.dll, ISNet.WebUI.Editor.v4.dll and ISNet.WebUI.Silverlight.dll from [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebUI.NET Framework 3.0\Bin to GAC.
  5. Copy the entire contents of \script folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\Shared folder.

    The scripts are needed if SmartWebResources is disabled.

To apply WebAqua hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : WebAquaNET2_0_1000_222.zip.
  2. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebAqua.NET 2.0\Bin.
  3. Copy the entire contents of \script folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\WebAqua\V2_0_1000 folder.

    The scripts are needed if SmartWebResources is disabled.

To apply WebScheduler hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : WebSchedulerNET3_0_1000_6.zip.
  2. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebScheduler.NET 3.0\Bin.
  3. Copy the entire contents of \script folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\WebScheduler\V3_0_1000 folder.

    The scripts are needed if SmartWebResources is disabled.

To apply WebTextEditor hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : WebTextEditorNET1_0_1000_10.zip.
  2. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebTextEditor.NET 1.0\Bin.
  3. Copy the entire contents of \script folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\WebTextEditor\V1_0_1000 folder.

    The scripts are needed if SmartWebResources is disabled.

To apply WebTreeView hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : WebTreeViewNET1_0_1500_221.zip.
  2. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebTreeView.NET 1.0\Bin.
  3. Copy the entire contents of \script folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\WebTreeView\V1_0_1500 folder.

    The scripts are needed if SmartWebResources is disabled.

To apply WebEssentials hotfix

  1. Extract the hotfix file, for example : WebEssentialsNET1_0_1000_2.zip.
  2. Copy the entire contents of \bin folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebEssentials.NET 1.0\Bin.
  3. Copy the entire contents of \script folder and paste it to [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\CommonLibrary\WebEssentials\V1_0_1000 folder.

    The scripts are needed if SmartWebResources is disabled.
