Hi,
I'm using the latest WebUI Studio 2010 R2 with all the latest hotfixes.
Following are the two set of issues we have found:a)1. Not sure if this happens only on 27th March.2. We have two events one on March 27th and one on March 28th, both start at 20:00 on that day till midnight.3. The event on the 28th March shows fine on the scheduler.4. The event on the 27th March ends at 23:00 on the scheduler, but the tool tip still shows the correct time till midnight.
b)1. Not sure if this is because today's date is 28th March.2. The scheduler is displayed with the current date as the active date.3. Click on the Back arrow to navigate to the previous day.4. The scheduler takes us to 26th March instead of 27th March. Please check the attached zip for a sample project, a video file and texts file explaining the above issues.Prompt reply will be appreciated.
Br,
Shajahan Ansari
Thank you very much for taking the time to put all the thing together.
I carefully read the reported issue, watch the video, and test the issue on my local end. I tried to reproduce the problem in my local test by running the provided sample project and do the step-by-step as shown in the video, but my efforts were not successful – everything worked smoothly.
For the timeline issue, I used to think that the issue only happens if the event occur on today and yesterday. So I change the StartTime and the EndTime of those events to:
Event #1
Original: 03/27/2011 20:00:00 (StartTime) – 03/28/2011 00:00:00 (EndTime)
Modified to: 03/28/2011 20:00:00 (StartTime) – 03/29/2011 00:00:00 (EndTime)
Event #2
Original: 03/28/2011 20:00:00 (StartTime) – 03/29/2011 00:00:00 (EndTime)
Modified to: 03/29/2011 20:00:00 (StartTime) – 03/30/2011 00:00:00 (EndTime)
The second issue, navigate to previous day, I test the problem by changing my local date and time to March 28, 2011; view the sent sample in browser; and click the back button to navigate to the previous day. The Scheduler is correctly showing the events on March 27, 2011.
I enclosed the video files that show how the tests are made on my local end. Should you find any step that I miss during my attempt reproduce the problem, please kindly let me know.
Hi Yudi,
Visit the this live page loaded on intersoftpt's demo sitehttp://live.intersoftpt.com/cs/WebScheduler/ViewMode_Timeline_Day15Minutes.aspx?noframe=1&path=/WebScheduler/Timeline%20View
it happens on intersofts webscheduler's demo as well :)Also, I'm attaching a video of the same behaviour I can see on intersoftpt's live demo page.
Please check!
Waiting for your reply..Shahjahan Ansari
The issue is related with the “Daylight Saving Time” that happen on some countries, territories, or states.
At the first attempt, I was unable to reproduce the issue on my local end. My current location is GMT +07:00 that has no “Daylight Saving Time”. The issue is replicable after I change my time zone to GMT +01:00 and enable the “Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time”.
The issue has been forwarded to WebScheduler development team to be investigated further and to be fixed. It is filed under work item #957.
I’ll keep you updated with any news I heard from the team regarding this issue.
I have not recieved any update on this query yet. I thought it must have been resolved in WebUIStudio 2011sp1 i still have the same issue in the very latest version of webscheduler.
Please reply.

The WebScheduler development team has managed to fix the issue. I have checked the issue using WebScheduler.NET 3.0 build 31 and carefully follow the step-by-step shown in the video that attached on your previous message. The issue is no longer persisting on my local end.
Please find my message on your registered email account to get the url to download the hotfix. Have the issue tested using the uploaded hotfix and let us know whether it helps or not.
Thanks for the reply.
There are two issues reported in this thread.
One has been solved thank you. The following issue is still pending:
a)1. Please reply.Br,
I’m using the latest nightly-build hotfix of WebScheduler 3.0 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 that I sent you on last Friday and do the following in order to reproduce the issue.
Open FirstExperience.aspx sample file from WebSchedulerSamples project.
Go to March 27th, 2011.
Create an event that starts from 20:00 till midnight (00:00).
Go to March 28th, 2011.
Compare both events.
Everything worked smoothly and the event on the March 27th, 2011 does not end at 23:00 on the scheduler.
I’m afraid that I might miss something during my attempt to reproduce the issue. Could you please kindly send a video that shows the step-by-step to reproduce the issue?
This is still not solved. Every year march when the daylight saving occurs the WebScheduler rendering of events issue starts.
Please take this seriously and solve it please.
I have re-checked the reported problems using WebScheduler.NET 3.0 build 130 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 build 802.
Problem #1 is reported as follow.
Result: this problem is no longer persist as shown in the attached video file (WebScheduler_DayLightSavingTime1.wmv).
Problem #2 is reported as follow.
1. Not sure if this is because today's date is 28th March.2. The scheduler is displayed with the current date as the active date.3. Click on the Back arrow to navigate to the previous day.4. The scheduler takes us to 26th March instead of 27th March.
Result: this problem is no longer persist as shown in the attached video file (WebScheduler_DayLightSavingTime2.wmv).
For your information, the time zone of the test PC has been set to GMT +01:00 and enabling the “Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time”. Should you find anything that I missed during the test, please kindly let me know.
Thanks for the reply, please check the attached video.

I was able to reproduce the reported problem and have forwarded this to WebScheduler development team to be investigated further. The report is filed under work item #1163.
I will keep you informed with any news I heard from the team regarding work item #1163.
Whats the status??Its more than a month now. Is there a solution to the above issue?S. Ansari
Apologize for the delay in sending this.
The status of work item #1163 is in progress. The team finds that the reported problem happens on a terminal which its Daylight Saving Time is enabled. It means that the problem is client-side problem. It is also only happen in TimeLine view.
I’ll keep you informed with any news I heard from the team regarding the progress of work item #1163.
I re-test the problem described in March 29, 2012 by following step-by-step shown in DaylightSavings.zip. The result is: the event now renders correctly. The screenshot below shows the result.
For your information, I'm using WebScheduler 4 (4.0.1000.4) and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 (3.0.5000.916).
About the reported problem: "This event is from Nov 5 to 6 and only showing on the 5th.", could you please inform me about the "start time" and "end time" of the event?
