I have a webinput on an aspx page with the formatting markup below. This works for other developers on my team who are in the GMT timezone. I am in a Canadian time zone, and even after changing my date/time and regional settings to match theirs, when running the page locally, the date selector assumes the date value is in US format, and gets mixed up. I can access the same page on a liver server and the control works correctly for me. Se attached image for behaviour Im getting. Can anyone advise?
thanks
Hi Darren,
Could you try in our live sample at http://live.intersoftpt.com/cs/WebInput/DisplayFormatDateTimeFormat.aspx?noframe=1&path=/WebInput/DateTime+Input and try to change the culture to English (Canada). I think it is okay here. (Please refer to attached screenshot)So I suggest you to apply latest hotfix which is WebInput 3.0.7200.213. You can get the hotfix using Update Manager. Please refer to this article to apply hotfix http://intersoftpt.com/Build/ApplyHotfix
After all then I suggest you to run this sample from your computer. You can get the sample from WebInput sample project and find sample named DisplayFormatDateTimeFormat.aspxPlease let me know the result at your end. Hope this helps.
Hi Darren, Have you tried to set CultureInfo to English (Canada)? Please refer to attached screenshot. And also may I know which build version of WebInput that you used?
Hi Dicky S,
Thanks for the feedback. Im afraid setting the cutlurename to en-CA does not work either, i get the same behaviour. The version of the ISNet.WebUI.WebInput.dll assembly is 3.0.7200.208
Some more info on this, i even get the same behaviour when running the samples project.
thanks again
