It works fine in here. Could you please let me know your environment machine detail?
Please ensure ISNet.WebGrid.dll in your project bin folder is the latest version and the version is same with ISNet.WebGrid.Editor.dll in GAC (C:\windows\assembly by right clicking>>properties the files and choose version tabs). You can also try to remove asp.net cache first at C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files. Hope this helps.

How to clean all the environment and reinstall all?

We have developed using the the WebUI Studio 2009 R1 and now we testing the SP1 refresh and also in runtime we have have a lot of error, how is it possible? has the SP1 refresh different behaviuors?

What log file do you need? SP1 refresh should not have different behaviours. If you want to reinstall, i suggest you to remove the license and uninstall the product. Please ensure that there is no Intersoft registries in your registries and assemblies in GAC.

Hi,

I have uninstalled all using the uninstaller and after I have reinstalled and anyway the Designer crashes opening the customEditor part, I asked for a log files where we could see the reason of that crash.

For us it is very important to configure our customeditor we have to show that to our customers for a demo.

We need informartion about bug fix related to cell data formatting, and also about the setForceNoEdit related with the [tab].

Regarding the crashing designer, could you send a screenshot the show the complete error details? We've tested the designer very extensively before releasing, and thus the issue should not occur.

Hi Vince,

This is the procedure to reinstall all your application:

• Delete all your license using LicenseManager.
• Uninstall the component
• Remove the Intersoft Solutions folder in c://ProgramFiles.
• Make sure IntersoftSolutions folder deleted from registry HKLM >> Software.
• Make sure c://windows/assembly clear from all intersoft files.
• Try to reinstall.

I tested on windows server 2008 and also works well. Please try to apply WebGrid 7 hotfix again at attached sample. Please don't forget to remove the old one (ISNet.WebGrid.Editor.dll ) c:\windows\assembly and copy hotfix into it . Your application project bin folder is also needed to use the latest hotfix. If it still does not work, please send me a simple page that replicates this issue or recording about step by step to replicates the issue. My development computer environment is Windows 7 professional 32 bit.

i ihave installed your hotfix anyway we have the same error.

I have create an empty web application project and I have dragged from the toolbox the webgrid and after I have opened the the designer and clicked on CustomEditors and I have got the crash, is it possibile to have an hot fix that logs something that can catch the exception?

sorry maybe you have not understood my issue, the designer works, the problem is when i try to open the customEditor from designer in order to add my customeditor.

I want to add my customEditor like the slidebar.

Is there any other way to add a customeditor without use the designer?
