Hi,
the controls just don't get loaded in all if our IE instances (different machines). Not in IE7 and not in IE8. The source code of the generate page looks fine and also the evaluation message I'm currently getting due to a license problem is displayed. Thias means that "something" is initialized from IS but not all.
What can I do about this? I have no idea where to start! Javascript is active of course. In Mozilla it works!
Please see the attachments.
Thank you
Matt, it seems you tried to deploy your project to deployment server. Have you assign the runtime license key to your web.config, which required by Intersoft products for deployment?
Hi James,
we're not deploying yet. It's happening on our development machines! So I develop on my machine in VS and with the development Webserver as well as IIS without VS open the page works fine on Mozilla but not in IE.
Thanks
Matt, the evaluation message will appear in trialmode. However, it shouldn't cause problem or javascript errors.
Do you have code that performs something during initialization? Perhaps the use of RegisterStartupScript or equivalents.
Hi James, I succeeded on going one step further with this issue. There was a PaneManager on the site which I removed now and it works. The problem occured on some javascript code of IS like pgm:INIT or something (The PaneManager was called pgm). It only occured in IE 7/8.
Can you try and test this issue on your side as I think its a bug. I didn't code or configure much on that page. I just drag & dropped the Pane and it didn't work.
Hi Matthias,
It works fine on my side. Please ensure if you are having .resources dll in your project bin folder and ensure they are the latest. Some error scripts could be occured when you're missing resources too. If not, could you please create and send the simple project include assemblies and the pages that replicates this issue?
Regards,Handy
