Hello,
Throughout our application, we have many IFrames. On all of these pages, our "body" tag has the appropriate style attribute set for "overflow:hidden;"
This property hides the scroll bars in Internet Explorer and Firefox just fine... however we are noticing that on Chrome, Safari and OmniWeb these scrollbars are still visible.
Is there another property that must be set to assure that these browsers do not display the scrollbar?
Hi Ben,
Yes, of course. Here, I attached you a running sample of that particular scenario. You can try to open a show the WindowIframe window, it will contain a button. You can try to click that particular button and test that pop up window on the edge. The scroll bar will not be shown.
I hope it helps. Thank you and have a nice day.
Best Regards,
Andi Santoso
Hi Alex,
I suggest, instead of setting the style attribute on the HTML page, you can try to set them in Page_Load at Server-Side by using "body.Style.Add("overflow", "hidden");". It works well for me on Safari or Chrome, and I also attach you a screenshoot of it. I hope it can help and do not hesitate to ask if you have any more questions.
Thank you,Andi Santoso
Adni,
Can you provide a sample code for that? I am having an issue where in one of my frames, I am calling a page containing a webgrid set to auto height and width. It works fine, but the scroll barrs appear in the panel.
