Why do you not provide source code for ClientUI?
Infragistics and Telerik provide full source code for all their products to registered users.
It makes it impossible to evaluate he quality of your product if you do not provide source...

Hi Colin,
Unfortunately, no. We have made a deal with Escrow and we are not allowed to give all and/or part of the source code to our customers. Intersoft has a team of support that will help to solve any technical issues, therefore, you do not need to read and study the code, which surely will take up most of your evaluation or development time.
Purchasing the controls from us means you will also receive our full technical support as well as maintenance. You are always welcome to forward your issues to us and we will make sure that your issues will be solved in a timely manner. Hence, you could have more time focusing on the project rather than having to spare some time to learn the code. Intersoft believes that if something goes wrong with the controls, it will be our responsibility to fix it.
Well, actually the JavaScript code cannot be hidden. But it is scambled in a way so that it's not very readable. I agree that having the source code would help many customers to debug their software, because it's not always clear if it's a problem in your own code or in the product.
It had lots of support calls (or now posts here in the Community) already asking for help. The problem is that the first reply takes at least an entire business day and until a solution or workaround is found it usually takes several weeks. When we would have the source, we could potentially fix the problem ourself, at least until Intersoft releases a fix.
Hi Eric,
As I stated on my previous post, it is our company policy to not show you any source code.
We will help you as soon as possible to solve your issue.
Hope you understand.
Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Regards,Niven.
The quality of the sample code is VERY poor, which makes me highly suspicious about the inner code.
If you cannot provide source and the only source available is your samples, you should at least clean it up.
It's riddled with stuff like using 'this.' on members that don't need it, declaring strings and then clearing them (you don't need to) and other horrible novice mistakes.
A good example is Contact.cs which is also used in your video BTW ;)
Thank you for your constructive criticism.
I’m sorry that we cannot provide you with the source code of our products.
Could you please kindly let us know in detail which sample that needed to be cleaned up, so that we could improve it to a better standard?
double post
The quality of the sample code definitely does not reflect the quality of the controls engineering. A large portion of the samples were built only to demonstrate the user interface and control-related features, while you will find a subset of samples that were pretty good, such as the contacts and other MVVM example to demonstrate MVVM best practice.
Unlike other vendors, we don't provide source code. We can't even if we want to, because a number of our user interface technologies are patented (or patent-pending). Intersoft has been all about quality and innovation, thus we have a very different business model with the other vendors. I trust our customers have seen our differences, and what really sets us apart.
For investment protection and security, we provided annual ESCROW subscription through a well-known third party vendor based in Canada. For further information, please contact our sales team.
Hope this helps,Jimmy
