WebGrid now supports both client binding and batch update, which works consistently in any client data source mode.

In this topic, you will learn how to use Batch Update Client Binding.

To use Batch Update Client Binding

  1. Configure client-binding using WebService mode.
  2. Open WebGrid.NET Designer. Go to Popular Settings and select Allow Add New, Allow Editing and Allow Delete.
  3. Scroll down to Editing - Batch Update section. Select Activate SmartBatchUpdate and Allow users to review pending changes.
  4. Run the project.
