WebCombo provides a client side method to get the text from the selected row.

In this topic, you will learn how to use GetTextBoxValue method.

To get the text of the selected row in WebCombo

  1. Drag a HTML button and leave the Id as it is, which is Button1.
  2. Double click the HTML button and add the following code in the defined client side event handler:

    function Button1_onclick() 
{
   var WebCombo1 = ISGetObject("WebCombo1");
   var result = WebCombo1.GetTextBoxValue();
   alert(result);
}

  3. Run the project.
