hi,
i am not getting the webgrid if i use the following line of code just above the html tag.
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
If add this the page staying on the loading condition.
the above mentioned code is necessary in my page to work some of the ajax functionality.
I have tested but could not see the issue. The page loads fine. Please modify my sample so it can replicate your issue.
Regards,Handy
Yes, we also aware about that, for functionality we have supported XHTML. Maybe there should be some layout issues and they have been reported to our developer team. If you don't mind, could you help us by gathering what issue that you find when using XHTML in WebGrid?
in my case, if i use the above mentioned line, then whenever i try to open the page it stays in the loading condition showing on the status bar as loading some image. and remains as it is without copleting the loading.
hope this information will be useful to your developing team.
Ok, but how should i replicate the issue? Did the same issue happen in our sample?
you can replicate the issue very easly , once you include the above mentioned DOCTYPE in your code, i think the problem will appear.
In my case i try to ajax ModalPopupExtender in my page which having webgrid. For the working of Ajax ModalPopupExtender we should have to include above mentioned DOCTYPE . But if i include that DOCTYOE problem occurs in webgrid.
thanks and regards
