I have the same results in both HTML5 and XHTML RenderingModes. I have found that setting the parent container's height to the desired grid height and setting the grid's height to 100% fixes the issue in IE10+. However, I am not looking for a workaround, but instead for the grid to be fixed.

This works correctly, thank you. I believe the code should do this automatically however, and should not require using both the method and manually setting the values.

Hello,

I have tested the sample you provided and my issue still exists. As I mentioned, I use the ForceNoEdit method and the problem only exists when the state is being changed from uneditable to editable.

To reproduce the issue:

  1. Click the "Set city as not-editable for New Row only" button
  2. Click the button again
  3. Select the new row and attempt to edit the city field.
The message from the second button click will have told you that the state is set to editable, but the field is still not editable. This can be achieved by selecting another row and returning, but this should not be necessary.

I am still having this issue and I would appreciate some kind of solution for this. The amount of errors being thrown could cause serious issues with my application.

Please let me know what can be done about this.

Hello,

I am still experiencing this issue and have since upgraded to WebGrid version 9.0.7200. I would like an estimate of when this issue will be resolved.

Hello,

I am having this issue as well, though in IE11 I have 3 separate errors (see screenshot). I would like to know if any progress is being made on this issue.

James

Hello Leo,

I have prepared a sample application with a small database backup which will show the error I am having. It seems before I did not provide detailed enough information. Sample is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5wa6w0zalsceydp/GridTestApplication.7z?dl=0

To reproduce:

-Open the default_tab.aspx page in a browser

-Click an item in the grid

-Click the textbox below

-Attempt to type in the textbox

This should allow the user to type in the textbox, but the grid seems to be holding the focus and you may get one or two letters max in the box before the focus is taken back to the grid.

Thanks,

James

Hello Yudi,

I am wondering if the fix has been implemented for this issue, as it has been quite a while without any news. If not, if you could supply an estimate for this fix it would be appreciated.

Regards,

James
