I'm trying to use a UXList in the same way that the ClientUI.Samples uses the listbox. I populate the listbox from a database table using EF. I load the records into a viewmodel with the model being the EF object. The list is displayed in the listbox, however SelectedItem always returns a null, when I debug it seems that the setter for SelectedItem is never called.
Is there an example of a listbox being loaded from a EF object (db table) ?
I have the MessageBox example, but it doesn't use a listbox
Unfortnately, we do not provide sample with entity framework data, however I believed the process will be similar with entity framework.
Based on my test with the enfity framework data, I could not replicate the issue. The selectedItem will be correctly set with the selected object in the UXListBox. Attached is the test page I am using to test this issue.
We also have released a new ClientUI build in the WebUI Studio 2010 R1 SP1, if you have not update to the latest build build please do so.
