Hi,I am having a number of problems with the WebTextEditor control and hope you can point me in the direction of solution.
I wrap up the WebTextEditor control in my own NotesCtrl.ascx so that I can represent various types of notes that will be loaded and persisted to the database based on a "NoteType" property.
I have another user control that uses the WebTab control and inside the fourth (Notes) tab I have a table that displays two NotesCtrl user controls one top of one another.
Problems are as follows:
1. When the page initially loads the Toolbars are not displayed (or rather the images) and I have to resize the screen before they appear. When I resize the screen additional toolbars are added to the second control 2. Having two WebTextEditors on the same page causes neither of them to work correctly, i.e. the buttons don't work or don't do what they are supposed too.
The attached sample demonstrates the issues.
Regards,Adrian.
Hi Adrian,
I can replicate the issue. Thank you very much for the sample. I will forward this to our developer teams.
Regards,Handy
Handy,
Thanks, do you have any idea when a fix would be ready for this? Otherwise I'll have to find another Rich Text Control as a replacement in meantime such as that from the Ajax Toolkit.
Regards,
Adrian.
Hello Adrian,
I need to confirm this to our developer teams to know the estimates time. I will let you know after I know it.
Our development teams are working in new relase product. So, they are not able to check the issue now.
However, after the release, they will soon to fix it. It would take about 3 weeks until 1 month.
Been having problems posting to this site, some internal issues, so please disregard this post as it is a test for me.
