Is there a way to hide the DataMember property of the GeChanges collection of the grid on the client side? Since the DataMember is an actual column name from our table, it would pose a security risk for anyone to have access to that type of information. It is understandable that the Caption and Name properties are visible, but not the DataMember property.
Unfortunately, the DataMember information is needed in the client side, especially when using batch update and client binding scenario.So, it is not possible to hide the DataMember property of WebGrid GetChanges collection on client side.
