Hello,
I have a UXStackbutton that i want to customize the item and use bindng. In a list box i would edit the "Item Generated Items" to add my own button. How do i do that with a uxstack button? I tired the "edit Generated Content" but I had no results.
Thanks
Andre
Ok, I found out how to edit the templete. it's under Edit ItemTemplate. . So I do not need the example now. I would like to know what style you are using for the example http://live.clientui.com/#/ButtonControls/UXStackButton. I cant seem to figure out how to make the text below the icon.
Hello Andre,
Yes, you can implement a template to use your own control in UXStackButton. We called the template itself as StackGridTemplate.
For more information on how to use StackGridTemplate, please refer to Intersoft ClientUI Documentation. It is located in Start Menu >> All Programs >> Intersoft WebUI Studio 2010 R1 SP1 >> WebUI Studio for Silverlight 4 >> Intersoft ClientUI Documentation (Visual Studio 2010).
Open the documentation file and select ClientUI Controls >> Control Library >> Button Controls Overview >> UXStackButton. Scroll down the content until you find Using StackGridTemplate section.
Hope this helps. Thank you.

HI, StackGridTemplate appears to not work as a repeater. I want to use the stackbutton with my own stackItem (just like an items control or a listbox). I want to bind to the UXStackbutton and have many statckitems based on the data found in the database.
Would i put my custom stackitem in edit Generated Content? if so, can you send me a basic sample of this with binding?
Hi Andre,
Please bear with me while I'm going to process your inquiry as soon as possible. I will try to create a basic sample for your reference.
Thanks.
Thanks. I have used your uxstackitem and added onto it. I needed to replace the standard one with mine and can't see to make it work when bound. Works great if I added it manually but that won't fit my needs.
Looking forward for the basic sample.
Glad to hear you have found out a way to edit the template.
In that sample, UXStackButton is using GridStyle in its StackMode. By using this mode, the text will be placed below the icon.
If you browse to the sample located in C:\Program Files\Intersoft Solutions\Intersoft WebUI Studio 2010 R1\Samples\SL4\ClientUI Samples\ClientUI.Samples.sln, you can view the styles that the UXStackButton used in that sample.
Thank you.
Thanks, I think i'll have to send an sample application. I'll try to figure it out and send a follow up message if i still need help.
Glad to hear the good news.
Should you have further questions, please feel free to post your issue in the community site and we will be glad to assist you.
