Hello, I just installed 2010 r2 and when I go to the License Manager I do not have the option to add the key for ClientUI 4.0., i get a message saying All installed Intersoft's products have been licensed.
When I go to use the 4.0 control it comes up with a message to use in trial mode or to activate. Since I can't add my key how do I activate it?
Thanks
Andre
Please try to check the ISNet.WebUI.LicenseManager.exe file at the following location:
For 32-bit operating system
%ProgramFiles%\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebUI.NET Framework 3.0\LicenseManager
For 64-bit operating system
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebUI.NET Framework 3.0\LicenseManager
The file, ISNet.WebUI.LicenseManager.exe, should be available and has 204 KB in Size and has 2010, August 31 05:40 PM in the “Date modified” property.
You also need to ensure the availability of the ClientUI 4 key registry in the following location:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intersoft Solutions\ClientUI\4.0.5000
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Intersoft Solutions\ClientUI\4.0.5000
Should you have different result, please let us know.
Please find “Intersoft Solutions” key registry in the following location:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intersoft Solutions\
Delete this key registry (including all of its values, sub-values, keys, and sub-keys) and have your PC restarted. Then try to re-register ClientUI 4.0 using Intersoft License Manager application.
This should fix the issue.
Note: This solution only applicable for 64-bit operating system.
I apologize for any inconvenience that this problem may have caused you.
In order to get the “this software is running in trial mode” issue resolved I would need you to check and send us some files that related to the license key. Since license key should be kept confidentially, I have sent you a message to your registered email account.
Please kindly check your registered email account and look forward to hearing back from you.
I just got news from ClientUI 4.0 development team and would like to update the status about this issue.
There is a minor issue in ClientUI 4.0’s designer that kept showing “this software is running in trial mode” message on a registered product. The team has managed to have this issue fixed in the upcoming installer.
The “refresh” installer will be available today, and will be officially announced. We recommend you to download the “refresh” installer and re-install Intersoft WebUI Studio 2010 R2.
I also would like to add information that related to ClientUI 4.0 runtime license key. Should you need to deploy your app that powered by ClientUI 4.0, you will need to obtain new runtime license key for the islicenses.licx file by re-performing the runtime app licensing and make sure that ClientUI 4.0 is selected.
Hope this information helps.
Edited reason: add "refresh installer" information.
Hi thank you. It appears the upgrade didn't upgrade correctly. I will have to uninstall and start all over.
Mine says August 31, 2010, 6:40:02 AM. Product Version 3.0.5000.500 Maybe I downloaded the install before you updated it. I will download a new version and try again.
Hello, I totally uninstalled Intersoft and reinstalled it and still have the same issue.
The first time when I had the issue I used the full installer, this time I used the web installer. I am still getting the old screen that will not allow me to use my clientui key.
Also, Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Intersoft Solutions\ClientUI\4.0.5000 is found in my registery.

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Intersoft Solutions\ClientUI\4.0.5000 is found in my registery.
Can you email me the correct .exe? please Zip it up since my email will block the .exes
Interesting..... but it worked.
thank you
I spoke to quick.
The above fix did let me put my key in the License Manager and all is good there. Now when I go to use the controls I get the screen that says "this software is running in trial mode" I have the correct key in License manager and I have already added my licenses.islicx.
Now what do i do :(

Hi
Is new installer officially announced ?
Can I download it from dev2.intersoftpt.com ?
I've similar problem, I'm using webuistudio2010r2.exe (2011-01-07)
regards
Andrzej
HI, I fully uninstalled the software (I did not do an upgrade and don’t forget to delete your license keys first) and then rebooted, then downloaded the newest version from dev2.intersoftpt.com with the last postdate of 1/12/2011. I then installed the newest version. After that I still had to go to the registry and delete Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intersoft Solutions\ since the uninstaller did not remove it. After that I was working again.

Yes, the WebUI Studio 2010 R2 Installer Update is now available. Existing customers can download it from Intersoft Developer Network (http://dev2.intersoftpt.com).
For more detail information regarding the WebUI Studio 2010 R2 Installer Update, please check the post at our official blog at http://intersoftpt.wordpress.com/2011/01/12/webui-studio-2010-r2-installer-update-is-now-available/. I unregistered all controls, fully uninstalled software, removed all Intersoft registry keys and Intersoft directory in ProgramFiles, install new downloaded exe, register all controls ... and it's working now.
... but I've another problem with missing System.Windows.Interactivity (see another post)
Please kindly check my reply on the ticket that discuss about the missing assembly file.
The assembly, System.Windows.Interactivity.dll can be found in the Expression Blend SDK which is a free download. And yes, you are correct; it also gets installed with Expression Blend.http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=d197f51a-de07-4edf-9cba-1f1b4a22110dhttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=75e13d71-7c53-4382-9592-6c07c6a00207

Hello,
I am having the same problem again with 2012 r1 on my x64 computer. I followed the instructions to delete Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Intersoft Solutions but this time it makes no difference.
How do i get the license manager to show the updated version?
I was able to fix my issue by uninstalling, then using CC cleaner to remove all the reg keys and reinstalled.
Glad to hear the good news.
