WebCombo 6 now support great range of approved CSS3 specifications namely the round corner and drop shadow features. Benefits that come from adopting the HTML 5 technology include local storage and offline application cache feature, which is designed to keep your control’s UI and data offline – which ultimately resulting in performance boost. Say goodbye to tedious workaround and welcome the new web era with WebCombo 6.
As you would expect from a true powerhouse combobox, WebCombo supports the five leading web browsers: Internet Explorer 7, Mozilla Firefox 3+, Opera 9.5+, Safari 3+ and the new Google Chrome. In addition to the compatibility layer added through Intersoft’s advanced bridging technology, WebCombo has been fine-tuned and enhanced to support these new browsers. Most core functionality – such as user interaction, data management, data editing, as well as the AJAX and rendering architectures – have been tested and found to work flawlessly.
WebCombo is focused on productivity features designed specifically for the Visual Studio development environments, such as ObjectDataSource data binding support, LINQ data binding support and the SmartTag Designer. As a result, only Visual Studio are supported.
WebCombo now fully supports the HTML5 standard. While this has required a revamping of a substantial part of its core technology, all user interface features and data functions have been thoroughly tested to ensure that this key feature works properly.
