Unlike other combobox components, WebCombo fully supports multiple columns, enabling you to present a more detailed, comprehensive view of your data. The result box expands to match the displayed columns with no width restrictions. Simply use the Component Designer 2 to enable the multiple columns mode, and WebCombo will retrieve all columns, or just the columns you’ve specified.
The standard ASP.NET DropDownList restricts the size of the drop-down list to the frame itself, and is unable to display a window which is greater than the frame. WebCombo shatters this barrier with the unique Floating Result Box, allowing users to view all of the data regardless of the size of the browser.
